Good quality, worked as expected, would recommend to others. I gave this 4 star as the position of the holes to the post pocket was not symmetrical
The ‘barbs’ that have been punched through to grip the post are too big and restrictive when fitting the post especially if your post wood is hard.
Bought to replace ones snapped in high winds, better looking welds too

Easy grip of timber post with slots which could still allow screw fixing to secure post, but in my opinion not needed, place shoe on timber or concrete to mark position of holes required, drill and fix secure quickly! Easy peasy
Secure base for a post easily fitted onto a wooden structure in my case but can go into concrete base.
Very secure, good tight fit. Used to secure a heavy gate.

Not so sure about "Easy". Should be "Tight". Need to make sure everything is right with what youre doing before inserting the post, as you wont get it out again (which is a good thing, in the grand scheme of things). Excellent value and dows the job. Fixed on and in to concrete for a fence and rock solid.
The base metel is not really strong enough needs tobe foublecthe thickness fonevon a 3 foot fence a bit iffy on a 6 foot grips the post fine if uding a new post !
This post is ideal if you need a solid base be it timber or concrete, you can bolt it on to either of those two surface

Much better than the bolt on but make sure you trim the post a little to make it fit, best done before you fix shoe to ground
