dont bother, they break after putting in 5 screws , could be the impact driver snapping them, but thats what u need them for, screw gun has a clutch.
I bought drywall dimpler set and used them
Very happy with the product
Will recommend
Cheap as chips and does what it says on the tin...
These do the job They were made for. Excellent for the price.
This item makes the job much quicker, good price at Toolstation, hard to find elsewher
... not a good idea , definitely needs a summer school from those how don't know how to used it
Great little set of dimplers, perfect for the job I had.. small amount ofplasterboard to be fixed......
Really good value for tge DIY'er
No fault of toolstation but, the company making these must have thrown all knowledge of metallurgy and tool making out the window, and decided to manufacture these out of what can only be described as soft cheese. I know it's only a fiver for 10, but they marr up as soon as you show it a drywall screw
A must when installing Plasterboard. I tried without and you know the screws will go in to far.
Good for plaster board! Do the job . Last long and stop in time
Ok .............................................ok
Got on with them surprisingly well. Not really any more expensive than normal ph2 bits and stops breaking the paper
This simple solution to plasterboard fixing allowed semi skilled help to properly screw plasterboard properly.
Work well on impact driver to not sink your screws too deep
Does the job at a great price. Made my job fitting the plaster board a lot easier.
Bought to replace previous set. Cheap and effective
poor don't last long, would not bother buying again
I read the reviews about these not lasting very long but I think it's because they are meant to fail to avoid ruining the plasterboard.
I plasterboard a room 4m x 4m and used half a box.
I'd 100% recommend these
Bought to fix 40 sheets to metal stud, but after the first one I'm going back to using plain PH2 bits. With plain bits I can still set the clutch to stop at around 9. I can see the head go into the board and ease off the trigger. My eye-hand coordination gets a better result.
At least I can press out the PH2 bits and use them on their own.
Simple and cost effective bit to stop screw damaging plasterboard.
