100 x 100mm post slot a little to shallow needs to be another 1 to 2 inches to securely hold post otherwise post 1.8 and above does wobble in cradle
Fairly typical post spike type product. the bolts have a square shank at the head so they don't turn in the hole - this makes tightening a bit less fiddly.

Good quality product; easy to hammer into ground. Lady on desk at Toolstation very friendly and helpful.
A lot easier than digging a hole through rooted ground. Can have a tendency to deform slightly when being driven in with the plastic tool and a sledge hammer. Decent construction and does what it needs to.
THE POSTS ARE GREAT but although I ordered a particular size online, this was not the size that was given to me in the store. If I had not noticed that they were the wrong size I would have gone away with the these only to discover later that they were incorrect. I felt that it should have been pointed out by them that as they did not have the size I wanted in stock they gave me these. This was, therefore, a wasted trip for me.
I bought two, and I did not realise until I got home that one was badly bent so that the timber pole would not fit in and the bolts could not be tightened. I managed to straighten it out enough to use it as it was too much hyssle to go back and get it replaced, but I was disappointed by the poor quality control.
With a socket it clamps on the 100mm round pole and saves having a new pole

I had a post break and need a quick and easy fix, I bought this and was surprised at the size of the spike. I needn't have worried I was able to hammer the spike into the ground with ease, I tighten the bolts on the spike and it does the job perfectly
Good quality used to strengthen fence after storm I still use postcreat for extra strength!
These post anchors appear well made with a good quality coating. They certainly do the job. The only comment that I would make is that you need either a socket with a deep throat otherwise it is a lot of work with a spanner to tighten them up.
Suitable for 4 inch (100cm) posts. Easy to use and tighten easily to secure the wooden posts.
