Good quality product, very useful
, could have bought a container type however I do not change oils myself
Good sturdy pan that captures all of the oil as it should. Pouring spout worked a treat with no issues or spillage. Very good value compared to others,
Great item. Just what I needed. Sturdy and strong. Easy to use under car or motorbike.
It’s a big bowl and it’s great at being big and a bowl
Does the job and perfect for oil inspection (metal shavings) but better ones out there that can store oil inside with screw on lid which is easier rather than pouring oil.
Cheap and useful and saves using washing up bowl so keeps mrs happy ish
This split on the first use at a point on the lip where there is a hole drilled, probably a weak spot. I used it to do an oil change and by the time the oil had drained into it there was about 20mm from the oil level to the top of the pan which made it very difficult to lift without spilling. Also the pouring spout isn't very good. When I tried pouring it, the flow was quite wide and spilt the oil which defeated the purpose. I definitely wouldn't use one of these to do an oil change but it might be useful for other jobs.
I only used it for draining oil from my lawnmower so found it fine for that purpose and didn't have the issue of some saying the plastic was flimsy with 6l of oil in. It's cheap, and did what I needed, but I've knocked a star off as I had exactly the same issue with the sticker as others. Even using some gentle heat to activate the adhesive, it was a total pain to get the sticker off, Draper really need to change that.
This works-well, although you have to be careful and pour slowly when emptying it, otherwise oil can overshoot the spout.
Before using it, I decided it would be best to remove the label (inside it !)
- as it would just get covered in used oil, making it more difficult to clean afterwards.
However, I found this had been completely-covered with very-strong adhesive, making this rather-difficult to do. So I used a hair-dryer to soften the adhesive to make it much-easier to remove in one piece (Although there was stil a bit of sticky-residue left, that needed a bit of label-remover / wasshing-up liquid to clean-off to a smoother surface).
A oil pan just what you need to change your oil...
Seems sturdy enough, held the oil fine and no bucking like some other reviews me tion, but you should use a funnel to decant it, the spout isn't too good
This is a really good product at a very competitive price. Ideal for my needs
Does the job to catch all the old oil and simply poor the oil into a container, job done
Great product and price though big pile services may come close to the top so keep an eye on this.
The oil spills everywhere when trying to pour out.
Great value for money. Being ultra fastidious, I prefer not to let my cars drip condensation from their AC compressors onto my (painted) garage floor! Two of these trays are in place to capture the water droplets and keep the floor clean and dry!
Perfectly sized for under low motorcycle pefect size and pouring tip for decanting before disposal of old oil.
Oil pan was fine. Trying to remove the label was a nightmare. I would like to know what glue they use would stick anything around the house
Essential kit, does exactly what youd expect, makes clean ups easier
Great drain pan, it caught all the oil I drained from my car, sturdy with a useful spout, recommended.
