Can’t get any cheaper build quality !!!!!!! !!!!!!
A great little welder for the price. Super compact and light weight for awkward jobs and places to access. Rapid ordering and pickup as always from the happy staff at my local Toolstation. Thanx
First time using it the connection on the earth lead collapsed when turning it in the socket on the welder. The metal is very thin and took no pressure. You would assume it’s solid metal, but after it crumpled you could see it’s thin and hollow.
So disappointed. Saw that all the Draper ones would be the same. Looking around online, even if the welder boxes looked different, in most cases they were all using the lead designs. So hunted for a different brand that cost a bit more.
it is extremely light weight and working long time with perfect perfomanse
Good welder for the price did pack in (break) after a year of heavy use.stiil good for a hobbies welder.
Get what you pay for can't expect more for the price
Worth buying for small jobs reasonably steady arc
Excellent welder, does exactly what it says on the tin. Accessories are not great but welder good value for money.
Good welder for money, poor mask and fitting
used twice now - good welder
Having been a welder all my working life (50 years) I have tried this inverter and it would appear the arc force is set to maximum,(factory setting) At the moment I am fabricating some wall top panels 40x40x2.5 box section, using E6013 RC 2.5 electrodes I normally would use 60-68 amps but not with this inverter. I have found that it runs okay at 44-46 amps because of the arc force. The amount of spatter is terrible no matter which polarity you use. I think the arc force is excessive. I would think if you are a novice and trying to learn with this inverter. I would suggest steel thickness above 4mm would be okay. It`s not the right one for working on car. The electrode holder cable could do with being another 1/2 meter longer. The welding visor is a bit heath Robinson, fortunately I have my own visor. However for the price compared to other inverters it`s not bad.
Works well pleased with machine
great welder, very small but has the power, very pleased with it
Excellent , used to weld thick steel only (4mm+) not tried on thin gauge metal. Easy to strike arc and weld.
Easy to use. Good results.
