Great little Jack. Was doubtful it would lift the car but it did. Would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it would have been better if it could lift higher.
This jack is TINY! I could not believe how small it is. I used it to raise the tail housing of a gearbox which was fine, but stupidly left it supporting for a couple of days and it leaked down. So it is OK to use temporarily whilst working, but provide additional support in the long term.
This compact bottle jack cannot be faulted on it's construction, quality or function. Straight out of the box it did what it is supposed to. The issue with it is that its actual pumping range is a little too short, which in a way is part of good design to make it compact. The threaded extending inner shaft will make up any shortfall, but the problem is that this is then fixed, i.e. it doesn't pump any further or retract when the jack release valve is activated. This becomes an issue when replacing a normal wheel with a puncture, with a space-saving spare wheel. Space-savers tend to be smaller than the standard wheel, so having adjusted the extending inner shaft & pumped up the jack for a normal wheel it then won't lower enough for the space-saver to touch the ground. Conversely, when changing a space-saver back to a normal (now repaired) wheel, having made the inner shaft adjustment & pumped up the jack there is not enough room to get the normal wheel back on. This can be overcome using a pair of wooden blocks (one thick, one thin) as spacers, but not ideal if in a precarious position at the side of a busy road. This happened with a Nissan Micra with normal tyres, not low profiles, but other cars/wheel sizes/tyre configurations may not have this issue.
So very small and compact and fits any where and very easy to use
Very small & compact unit - used to lift our 1500kg caravan to change the tyres. Easy to use with a lift height of approx 100mm - Great value for money at just £22.
Excellent compact product - easy to use and powerful enough to raise a number of heavy concrete beams
Just what I wanted at a good price. Works well. I wanted it to support the caravan nosewheel.
Rather unstable need larger riser head cap maybe rubber block
Bought to replace my old one which is about 20 yrs old. Almost identical Jack and does the job just like the old one.
Grwat product. Could be a little taller on full pump
Neat jack, perfect for my purpose. - pressing apples for juice.
Great little Jack - even goes under our ride on mower as well as my dinghy trailer which is very low axle height.
Also has enough screw thread to lift the tow bar of a 2tonne boat trailer high enough to enable my Landrover defender to back and couple when the trailer jockey wheel had slipped- ideal for my needs
Needed two jacks and ordered online. Two in stock, but one had clearly been returned and not checked. No handle. I was grudgingly given a discount.
It's tiny, I should've got my tape out to consider if it's big enough (my bad). The lift range is innacurate - it's 90mm from flat down to full extend, adjusting screw increases starting height by 40mm, but range is still 90mm starting from 148mm or from 188mm. It's not enough to lift a car off it's wheel using the normal jack position, you have to use the actual suspension arm or axel, which makes it very awkward, I should've got a scissor jack.
this was a quick purchase to have a method of lifting the caravan in the event of a puncture. THe jack is small and compact, and fits in the caravan locker easily. 3* because I haven't had to lift anything yet and I would think a third section to extend the handle would be a good idea to increase leverage and distance the operator from the underside of the vehicle.
Great little thing to have in your tool box. I used this to move a steel beam into place. It worked like a dream.
good jack good jack good jack good jack good jack good jack
Terrible product, didnt even work properly. Waste of money
Nice cheap and useful little jack. Will calmer in handy for lots of tasks on the garage and shed.
OK for wheel changing. Just about fits under the jacking point on a Merc A-class 2005 W169. Thought I'd try this rather than the Hilka who's 2-tonne trolley jack started leaking soon after buying it it.
