Smaller set than expected, but after use it seems adequate for the job, how long it will perform well. Who knows !!!
Easy to use and full of features at a low price. Extremely simple and reliable welding tool for the novice. Small and compact easy to carry and pack away again. Recommend for those easy home tasks.
Absolutely brilliant bit of kit for the price, don’t get me wrong you aren’t going to be doing any serious welding with it, but it’s great for tacking and doing those odd jobs on site where you can’t get a conventional MIG welder with a gas bottle etc. A handy bit of kit to have in the van.
Good tool. Excellent welding device
Great product for price definitely. Only thing to ignore is that protecting mask and steel wire brush but machine by itself very good.
All fine, works and does better than expected, but pity about face shield, it is more than useless wouldn't matter if it wasn't in the package because the Welder is worth it's money without it. So, Draper, don't bother putting the face shield in the box.
Never had an inverter welder before but like the idea of something light, portable and with the option to mig or stick weld.
Regarding performance seems spot on, certainly better than my old transformer mig.
Only downside is it doesn't come with wire & mask is a bit light.
One issue that nearly caused me to return it is on the power/plug lead - said 16amp plug only. I don't have 16amp supply and had no intention of fitting. Researched on welding forums and consensus seems up to about 160 amp should work fine on 13amp.
My machine is 120amp and seems fine running on 13amp plug - hopefully will prove to be reliable but time will tell.
