Easy to put together, take apart and use saved my loads of time.
Great tool, have used it the cavity wall in the house and in the car to thread under carpet and ceiling cover. Just the correct amount of rigidity. I would recommend

I brought these some years ago at a much lower price, I've managed to break all but two of them since but they've lasted through some serious abuse and so I'd say those had been great value for money. So despite the reviews I decided to grab another pack of these before starting on a rewire where everything had to be fished through a 40mm ceiling void.
From the packaging you'd think they were the identical product, sadly, they are not. By eye the new rods are fractionally thinner looking with a greenish tinge in the blue. By feel, well, think cactus! As other reviews have mentioned, the threads come loose far too easily during use, so the slightest bend in your run and yes, you got it... snap! Of the ten rods, after one week: two brass ends came unglued/uncrimmped (losing me two rods and the eyelet attachment forever, to The Void); two others snapped at the thread. The previous rods were given some stick; these ones had it easy but proved to be no better than if I'd gaffer taped some actual sticks together.
The price has gone up, the quality down. I've still got the two old rods though and Toolstation staff issued the refund without a problem.
If you have big straight ducts to fish though, then for the price, maybe bother, otherwise either heed the reviews or pay for it in wasted time and frustration as I did.
Worse set of rods ever owned brass attachments pull off easy, loose rods in floor boards because of this waste of money
Sadly the first draw I did the rods parted company , leaving a 4m section stuck in the middle of the conduit , needless to say nightmare batting it out , but toolstation took it back without complaint and refunded immediately,within the hour product sadly didn’t perform 0/10 toolstation 10/10
Excellent tool to run cables through a cavity wall
I have had some Draper rods like these for about 15 years, disappointingly, the brass ferrules on this set just keep coming off. I’m returning them for a refund tomorrow.
Thease are grate in tight spots and slide round corners well
Snapped within 10 minutes of use, very poor quality
Brilliant and fits in tool box easily so always have to hand

Excellent product, more than long enough for most jobs, only downside was that rods often snagged on any shoulders of conduit fittings
Poor quantity brass couplers break far to easily, returned and bought a Mightyrod kit which which lasted more than 1 job.
