Absolutely rubbish fell to bits on second use would not recommend.
For the money it’s surprisingly good. Love the laser line, and the vacuum attachment.
I love the LED light and laser guide that are located next to the blade. Great for making cuts in the dark and the laser ensures your cut is straight-ish. The quick release for changing blades is amazing (my last jigsaw required a hex wrench to change blades). This saw is also very powerful- it easily cuts through wood, MDF and metal.
Good but not enough when it comes to hard wood it's not great
But soft wood is absolutely fine

Bought this as I needed a jigsaw when I was doing some jobs a my son's house (250 miles from mine). It appears to be well made. The blade change is a bit fiddly to operate, but has proved secure. Vibration isn't too bad, although I never use jigsaws on the fastest speed as it is frequently counter productive. The sole plate does not have an open front and dust accumulates rather than being blown out.
I found it a competent saw and worth the money.
Good value ideal DIY tool
The Draper Jigsaw appears to do exactly what it says it will. I made a number of intricate cuts through some 30mm thick timber and the result was excellent. The cuts were straight and at right angles to the top face of the wood. For the price this is a truly excellent piece of kit.
Reviewed after unpacking and a quick test to make sure it works. Feels solid, laser line appears to be correctly aligned, work light a useful feature. A storage/transport case is not included. UK after sales service is available.
Using this tool you have to have a strong grip because it bounce around quite vigorously. Overall it is a very tool, it gets the job done
