Good for money good tool and easy to use. Comes with everything needed and does the perfect job
Bought to install engineered flooring. Easily dealt with 20/6mm oak floor boards width and length cuts in particular. Cheaper than hiring one for 4 days. Laser line very handy on dark boards pencil marked lines.
Just the job, powerful and the laser light guide is very useful.
bought the saw for some work in garden so far so good
So far I have used it around a dozen times, and I cannot fault it. The guide on the base plate is not clearly documented, and the laser line guide is sometimes useful when it is visible: it is hard to see in bright sunshine.
This model has a solid thick Al base. The other cheaper Draper that Toolstation stocks seems to have a thinner baseplate judging by Draper's own website.
How it will fare in the longer term or on larger jobs I cannot say.
For the price this machine does the job. It is quite heavy compared to some other circular saws. The guide is basic, the blade supplied cut through the 2x1 & 7mm ply I needed to cut. I'm happy with this purchase.
I bought this to put a roof on my garage, mostly cutting rafters and a scarf joint for a centre board. I wasn't bothered if it packed up after that, but it did the job well and it's still going strong. It isn't the best tool in the world, but it's cheap and does the same job as a more expensive tool.
Great for the DIYer at a good price feels solidly made
Very good powerful circular saw. A bit heavy but good handles to grip. The laser line was one of the main reasons I bought this and was very useful for long cuts for which the guide cannot be used. Supplied blade gave a good cut.
Very precise and fast cutting tool, great to use for rhe price
Starter for a DIY impressive ease of use clear instructions.
Good quality saw and the laser guide works well, the only downside is the quality of the Parallel Fence which is very poor quality and lets down build quality of the saw!
I ordered some items and inadvertently chose wrong collecting depot. When I arrived in middle of snowfall the assistant realised the error and after checking the stock was in - cancelled and refunded the order immediately- no fuss.
My items were available and I’m delighted with them.
The red laser light is an excellent guide for an accurate cut.
This was advertised as having a laser and electronic brake.
I would say it didn’t have a brake. Draper tech man 1 said it hasn’t, tech man 2 says it has, take it back, it must be broken.
Does not have a straight edge. Makes cutting against an edge frustrating and inaccurate.
