1st time using it, it does seem to work very well time will tell
I do prefer the Dow products to others available on the market. The sanitary sealant sticks well, is smooth and easy to work and gives a nice neat bead. It costs more than some other makes but I think it is worth the extra.
Looked at other feedback and decided on this. It was easy to use and did a great job. It was a while before the odor cleared so recommend open windows.

This is a good quality sealant which lasts well and seems less prone to mould than many others.
Will it go mouldy after a while?? Who knows, time will tell. All sealants look good when brand new but its longevity that matters. I went for a more expensive one, and that was recommended by AI.

Having used many other silicons for years I find it gives a better finish and mould resistance compared to most other brands.
Dowsil DC785 is very good flows nicely I would recommend it as a reliable sealent
This is my go to for sanitary silicone as it has better mould and mildew resistance than others I have used. It does eventually get light mould on it but it is easily removed with cleaner.
I chose this sealant based on reviews saying it seals well and doesn't mould. I was nearly put off by some reviews saying it is difficult to work with or doesn't dry.
I found the sealant to be no more difficult to work with than the better quality low-modulus upvc window sealants. I used the product mostly as directed, though I did wipe my finger on a baby wipe then ran it over the bead ONCE. Don't try to go back in to correct anything. With these sealants you do only get one shot at smoothing the bead. And it needs to be done within the fist couple of minutes as it skims over fast.
The product has dried as expected and sealed my shower perfectly. Now only time will tell if it moulds.
