Still I don’t use but all the time dewalt good quality
The blade cuts very well, but the blade is deep enough that it cuts into my DeWalt reciprocating saw’s blade guard. Not caused big damage, but I would have expected a genuine part to be fully compatible.
Long blades, not very sharp, seem really strong though so that’s a bonus
Brilliant on wood but not very good on metal as the blade easily blunts.
The advantage of these blades are that they do not bend as they are thicker than normal. However, I find that the 225mm 6TPI Wood/nail embedded IRWIN blades, similar, are just as good and are cheaper. They last quite a long time and although thinner, have only a very slight tendency to bend.
Unfortunately, Tool Station do not sell them.
I bought these blades to cut through wood with metal nails knocked in. I was using the DeWalt DWAR956 blades before, but they did not suit the material as they bent.
These blades were much thicker and stronger and do not bend which is ideal - well worth the extra money. They are sharp and cut straight through the wood and nails.
I can recommend them.
The people in the Llandrindod Wells branch are very cheerful and obliging.
Good quality blades. Well worth the money.
I had a difficult job to do but this blade managed it no problem
Does what it says on the pack always happy to shop at ToolStation
Brilliant blade used to cut decking screws(hardened steel) so decking wood could be re-used as the installer used untreated timber joists resting on the ground with the inevitable results. One blade managed 50 screws. I have tried various other wood/nail blades but this was by far the most impressive and effective
Great blades cut though as needed
fantastic did the job brilliantly
Blades don’t stay sharp for long
A repeat purchase!
The blades can handle the occasional steel screw & nail as well as timber, plastic & plasterboard.
They are durable & stay sharp longer than others.
Their thickness means they are much less prone to bending under pressure.
