The only place to actually have hex masonry drills by dewalt. Used for installing toilet pan fittings. Excellent construction by dewalt.

I always buy this make and model of masonry bit as I particularly like the point in the middle as it helps stopping the bit from wandering when starting to drill. Also this bits are sharp and seem to last well unless you hit a flint or metal !
The first drill bit I collected was bent and couldn't be used without the drill shaking badly. I took it back for a replacement and this was very slighty off straight but useable. I would advise checking these before leaving store or upon delivery before you use it.
I have a wonderful set of Bosch hex-shank masonry bits that have changed my DIY life (literally) but there is no 5mm bit. So I bought this for a specific job - the spec looked good. When I tried it the bit was bent and it chewed the hole. Not happy.
A great drill. Lasts for ages and can take a lot of wear.
When I came to use it I discovered it was slightly bent, but too far back to Toolstation to change. It still did the job with some extra care.

Just what I needed and, surprisingly, not easily available elsewhere. Good value, fits my drill no problem; great result all round.
I had to drill 4 holes (75mm deep) into brick (not the mortar) to mount a keysafe. Job had to be accurate otherwise the special bolts supplied would not grip the brick and the keysafe could be levered off the wall. Pleased to say the drill worked excellently and did not take long. Good quality - recommended !
Work ok in an impact driver but better in a hammer action drill.
