This goes through wood like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately, they don't stay very sharp for long and I don't know anyone to sharpen them.

Bought sector drill feeder holes through wooden joists during rewire. Absolutely flew through the joists, clean holes with very little splintering. Great auger drill bits
After years of using swing brace and bits, I decided to try these with a battery drill.... swing brace now confined to toolchest, never to be used again! So easy, fast and clean holes.

Drill was only good for the first few holes drilling through 36mm timber. The Titanium coated flat bit cut better

Used them for drilling soft wood, fitting internal door latches. Used all 3 bits and they seem to work and cut well, I used my mains powered drill.
These go through joists with so little effort, apply a little pressure and a push at the end to finish. Great when when working up a ladder. Put watch the end, once the thread is damaged they are worthless.
