Used to drill 18mm holes in plasterboard for 18mm Gripit wall anchors. Does the job fine, what more can you ask.
I’ve only used this on one occasion so far, I was using it to drill through joists, under floorboards to run several cables, and to one side where I hadn’t removed the boards due to them being old T&G, and fixed with flooring brads.
Using an 18 volt drill with an angle attachment, and a bit of leverage off my leg on one of the joists, it also went straight through the other joists where I had more room and stayed sharp.
It seams nice quality, so one to look after, so before I started I checked the joists for nails with a detector as I didn’t want to risk blunting it on one of those nails, or any other unseen nails.

Almost Perfect for the job - a 27mm size would have made it easier. So much better than my old one though.
