The sound quality via bluetooth and aux input is great, but I’m wondering if I’ve just bought an over-priced bluetooth speaker?
Obviously the charging capability is a bonus and one of the reasons I bought it, but overall I feel let down by DeWalt…
This is an awesome radio! I know it's just a radio, but the sound is unbelievable! Really robust, links to your phone wired or wireless, can control from app too. Power supply cord & charge power tool batteries, or run from battery. Nice colour screen display. Radio can be laid flat; on top if your t stak boxes, or stood vertically, the screen rotates accordingly. A must have radio!!
Purchased may 2023, unit was faulty by October 2023, replaced under warranty, now it's July 2024, I have same problem faulty unit won't charge battery, touch screen doesn't work. No repair service after 12months , Toolstation nor DeWalt can offer any after care service so I now have another radio that's absolutely no use. Very unhappy with this! I expected better quality for that price!
Rugged and good sound. DAB reception could be better but decent enough. Great that it acts as a charger as well.
Expensive but good sound. DAB can cut out quite a bit. Could be better if had usbc charging point instead of just regular usb

Awesome piece of kit great addition to my Dewalt set easily clips to top of existing tstak boxes I’ve been wanting this for a while and yes! it lives up to its expectations well worth every penny

Brilliant upgrade from makita radio 👌 definitely a lot louder/clearer/heavier bass than any other radios I’ve used on site, yup a little more expensive but 100% worth it you won’t be disappointed

The best radio/speaker by far! Sound quality is amazing, volume is tremendous! Connectivity is excellent Bluetooth goes for miles! (Almost). Out to the van and back no problem, stays connected the whole time. The batteries last pretty well. And it will even charge a battery whilst plugged in. Although that is very slowly. 5amp takes about 2-3 hours. Better than Makita, cheaper than Milwaukee.
