The output of this laser level flickers / changes brightness extremely quickly, a bit like the light from an arc welder.
At first I took it back to the shop for an exchange but the replacement was exactly the same. Maybe it's to do with this model being compatible with a detector, but I find the flickering to be extremely off-putting especially when working in a darker space.
The case is a nice feature, but the included AA batteries are very poor quality and didn't last long at all.
Works better in bright sunlight than my previous red laser.

Good laser level, bright enough (just) to use for hedge trimming on a sunny day but patience needed, with frequent moving required... would be better at night! Will be great for setting out verticals and horizontals both indoors and outside.

Great product. Was a necessity for precise installation of multiple framed artworks in a showroom. The green is worth the extra for me because it is easier to see than the red (for me) in all light conditions.
The magnetic attachment ability is excellent and helped me position the level while drilling holes.

Quality piece of kit if you want a basic good quality laser level, easy to use and the magnet and bracket make it piece of cake to get where u want it. As always with dewalt it’s built well.
