The Dewalt DCS397N 54V XR FLEXVOLT Brushless Alligator Saw is a heavy duty saw that is capable for cutting through porous or fibrous materials.

The dual saw blades run in opposite direction to produce a faster cutting experience when working with materials such as aerated concrete or insulation.  The opposing direction cutting action, along the whole length of the 430mm blade, keeps the workpiece in one place and prevents jumping or moving when being cut.

Perfect for cutting materials down to size, the high speed saw, thanks to the brushless motor delivers 2400rpm no load speed with a 40mm cutting stroke.

The saw includes a dust sealed gear casing and bearings increasing durability while the aluminium gearcase reduces weight allowing for working over longer periods.

The quick and easy blade changing system reduces downtime, while the saw allows for on-board storage of accessories.  The DCS397 includes a lock-off switch to prevent accidental activation.  The comfortable ergonomic design of the saw, with overmoulded back handle and main handle, allows for premium control as well as comfort.
