Nicely weighted once it has a large battery. Lovely action and superb finish. Used a corded planer for 30 plus years and love the freedom a cordless one gives
After years of using a corded planer of another make, I was very impressed by the DeWalt cordless planer. The standard of build is really good, the handling is well thought out and the battery system offers a high level of power and ‘mileage’ per charge.
Good but with some issues, one sided extraction is my biggest issue also it is a bit heavy

Bought this as I needed a planer quickly & it was in stock for collection. It’s ok for the money but wished I could have waited for my first choice a Milwaukee. There’s nothing wrong with it & carnt compare it to the Milwaukee one which would have been £50 more. Not bad for the price & does what a planer should
I was struggling to plane new doors with a cheap corded planer. It was causing some anguish. But replaced with this, I LOVE IT. It's a joy and worth every penny.

I needed this to plane off the bottom of some doors after fitting new flooring, great tool very easy to use, some care needed when setting up as it takes no prisoners if you go in heavy handed, beautiful finish.
