Great light, good strong design, however a bit annoying to place anywhere due to size and the hook is useless as the light then turns in the opposite direction.

Ideal torch that provides plenty of light. 4amp battery or higher is best as it uses a fair bit of power.

Had a spare battery from buying a Dewalt drill and seen this on offer. Always needed a torch and thought I’d go cheap and cheerful but then thought may as well invest. Having bough the torch, build quality is very good. Was a bit uncertain how it would light up areas as it only had two settings but the bright setting is bright enough, almost daylight colour which is nice and has a nice beam angle where it’s not too wide and not too narrow. The less bright probably saves battery but haven’t used it much and the bright really does light up everything. Having not used a torch other than iPhone light I have put this in my tool bag and used almost a couple of times a week and I’m not a trader. It’s very useful to have and the angle adjust is better than expected in terms of available in lots of different scenarios. . If you have a Dewalt tool range this is a must have
Only downer is although you had the hook you can’t hook and shine the light down. You have to place the torch on a flat surface and twist the to angle down. Would be perfect if it has some form of ability to hook and shine downwards but nothing is perfect in life :)

Bare tool purchase from Toolstation (best price) Good Quality Indoor Light, that throws out a very clear bright white light that will light up a large room with two light power settings. Good quality 'clicker' to set the light angle. nice power tool pistol grip when held. with a pull-out hook (that the silver ring) overhaul construction is great, but this is not for outside in the rain, as the main body of light has exposed vents.
Other points below:
The light as has many clicks angles of flex, however if used at 180degrees (floor pointing at ceiling) with a slim battery, the light will fall over (not enough weight, unit is heavier than the battery), so use a bigger battery 5.0MHA.
This is what I use to get over three/four hours continuous use depending on battery age. Worst feature no magnetic feature (if working on a car).
Would I recommend – Yes.
Bright, sturdy, easy to use. Love the build and the hanging hook, plus has the holes for accessories such as magnetic bit holder. Wish it actually came with one though.
