They work extremely well. Secure fixings in thermalite is very important. I will definitely be by these again
Easy to use. Pity they only come in large boxes, most people will only need 4 or 6. To early to comment on their effectiveness
Compared to the other major band thermal block fittings there are significantly larger and more substantial, you could hang yourself off a single one of these, these other brands much smaller fixings felt reasonably ok for wall cupboards when I used 4 times as many!
These fixers are perfect for aerated blocks. They are easy to install by drilling a hole and then screwing in using a hex bit
Good product. The threads could be deeper to enable a stronger bite.
Good product and capable of obtaining a tight grip into extremely weak thermalite. Needs M10 coach screws. Don't doubt the 40 kg rating per fixing
Great fitting, really secure hold, used with 12mm drill bit and worked fine.
I tried to find some up to date methods for fixing into Thermalite block. Research pointed to these fixings. Used the correct size drill & coach screws, but the fixings did not meet with my expectations. They struggled to thread through the plaster surface on the blocks and the allen key used to fix the plugs would simply spin in the hexagonal hole as the plastic was put under any stress. Had to revert to other fixing methods in the end.
