I painted our grandchildren's wendy house and it did the job perfectly
I was a bit apprehensive about going so light after years of a darker blue/green, but the Coastal Mist is perfect for the summerhouse, brightens up the garden and gets lots of positive comments. I have another pot ready for future coats.
Terrible garden paint in this shade that is like water. Drips and even after 3 coats on new light wood shed looks like a nicotine stained pub ceiling from the 80s. Bought same in Wild Thyme online and is fine
Previously painted my wood workshop with this paint, 9 years later it needs redoing. Excellent paint, easy to apply, good coverage and long lasting. Highly recommended.
I have used shades for a number of years, good selection of colours that enhances any wooden features that you might have. Easy to apply and although it needs two coats the end result is worth the second one.
Really easy to apply, good coverage and a lovely colour. Made our summerhouse really stand out.
Only been painted a few months, and not been through a winter yet, but am very optimistic.
This has a really nice colour to it, it absorbs into rough sawn fencing easily and needed 3 coats to get good coverage. Very happy with it.
Great garden fence treatment....looks amazing. Buy it
Cuprinol Garden Shades is great for my summer house and shed. Looks great and protects the buildings from the rain. Initially, you need atleast 2 coats and just needs patching up every few years
Covered well in two coats. Applied easily with a brush
Easy to apply. Water based so easy to clean brushes. Covers well with two coats.
Needed three coats on new treated wood, lovely colour and hasn't faded over the summer
Love this paint. Lasts a lot longer than some other paints. Lovely deep grey with a blueish tinge.
I've used both the grey and pale blue versions of this product - both are excellent, in terms of looks and performance. You do need to follow the instructions about multiple coats however. Minimum of 2, and I find that lightly 'keying' the surface with glasspaper helps 2nd/3rd coats stick better. Would recommend.
After sanding down the garage, which still had Cuprinol from 10 years ago, we applied 2 coats of wood preserver followed by 3 coats of garden shades. The shades soaked in well, though it did scuff when I used a ladder (lesson learned!). Based on our experience, 3 coats are definitely needed. We waited about an hour between coats at 18°C, which seemed to dry enough to recoat. I'd recommend doing all 3 coats in one day to avoid sanding in between, as per the instructions.
Good coverage, fast drying, highly recommend. Lots left over after 2 coats as well.
Nice colour. Good consistency. 1 coat did the job on bare wood. 2 needed for changing the colour of an existing fence.
great stuff works well even in the hot sun , very happy with it and superb coverage
Lovely blue-grey colour. Easy to apply with roller. It dripped a bit. Good price.
Great product at a really good price. I used a oil based primer on the bare wood prior to painting the Cuprinol as I was concerned it would peel if painted directly to the soft wood. Hopefully this will protect for 5 years plus.
