Cuprinol improves the look of the whole garden and protects the wood.
Goes on well when diluted for spray gun. Needs at least 2 coats.
Does what it says on the tin but a bit thick to paint - part of its protection quality I suspect
I am really pleased with the Cuprinol Ducksback shed & fence paint treatment. The paint is very easy to apply to the timber and covers really well.
Used 10 cans on fences and they looked great with 2 coats, quick drying
This fence preservative gives good opaque coverage and saves rain saturating the wood.

I painted my fence a few years ago using this Cuprinol colour, and recently decided to refresh it with the same product. It seems Cuprinol has improved their formulation since my last use—what a pleasant surprise. The paint now offers excellent coverage and essentially works as a one-coat solution. Quick, easy, and the finish looks fantastic. Perfect.
Ducks back covers well 2 cans used on bowls club fence which had not been done for years. Now looking excellent. Very good offer price at Toolstation. Cheaper than B&M.
Peels off! Don't buy waste of money tried but useless
Now this stuff is the real deal. Compared to another competitor make we used this was the doggies crown jewels!!
Used to paint 100' x 6' fence. Applied using an electric air sprayer. Had to dilute with 15% water to make sprayable but results were excellent! Used 3 and a half, 5 litre tins to apply 2 coats! Excellent coverage but needed 2 coats. Fence was 12 years old and hadn't been painted before, was just the original treated timber. Did clean off old moss beforehand but the 2 coats covered everything. Very pleased. Obviously can't say if it will last 5 years but hears hoping!

Good stuff, easy to apply and good coverage. Quite thick so less messy than some other products. The colour darkens once dry so don’t panic when you open the tin….. it will darken as it dries
Over decades of using Ducksback on outside animal housing - I can honestly say that I know what I’m getting each time .
Always quality - always the most persistent product on any wood surface I apply it to .
You won’t need to be applying this annually and that is a saving in my time - Price ?
I’m amazed that one can always find it so competitively priced and available . I personally don’t know of any product with similar characteristics that doesn’t retail for at least double .
