It will be showerproof an hour after use, and in normal weather conditions, it''ll be dry after two to four hours too. The colour gets absorbed into the wood and will protect it for up to five years so you can focus on other tasks. For a deeper colour, re-apply it within a couple of days (any longer and its water-repellent quality will prevent the new coat from being absorbed).
