Just the job for straightforward replacement of worn out original .
cheap plastic worse than the original one that broke
The riser rail in question came with a "Mira Event XS" when it was installed 5+ years ago and had cracked and no longer worked. I could have bought a replacement riser rail kit but for the sake of just replacing the bracket itself, this seemed somewhat excessive in terms of cost. Despite some of the negative reviews on here, I decided to give this bracket from Croydex a go and so glad that I did. OK it's not as robust as the original part but for the price I paid for it and the ease of fitting it and most importantly it does the job as advertised.
What a heap of garbage, not only doesn't it grip to the riser rail the shower head doesn't fit in the bracket unless you force it. I've got a standard Triton shower, nothing unusual or out of the ordinary, it can't be that hard to design something that actually works. It doesn't deserve one star but that's not an option, Save your money, buy a replacement that actually works and Croydex, stop selling rubbish that's going to end up in the bin.

Like other reviewers found, the slider could not support the weight of my shower head. Fortunately, I had a spare one that weighed less and the slider was able to support it.
The instructions could have been more detailed; but, overall, I am satisfied.
Really pleased with this shower riser rail attachment for the shower head. It is adjustable so fits most size rails and is very reasonably priced

Does the job and is reasonably stylish; but unfortunately, not the greatest achievable grip on (22mm) chromed slider rail - even when tightly adjusted. So certainly wouldn't recommend suitability for use with any larger/heavier type shower handsets.
It is considerably less expensive than original manufacturer's spare/replacement part.
NB. 'Standard' shower head/hose connector piece (only) just fitted within the holder's aperture - this might be improved by being a few mm larger in overall diameter - to prevent potential product returns.
Seemed alright but when fitted to the rail and the shower head attached, the head rotated ,the ratchet mechanism didn’t seem to be able to hold the shower head in place, which tilted forward until the hose touched the wall, which prevented it turning any further. It would possibly be fine with a lighter shower head, not that the one on this particular shower was heavy. I returned the item, explained why, was given a no fuss refund so toolstation remains up there as the place to shop, but sadly this product at least in my case didn’t work for me

I purchased this Shower Riser rail fitting so as not to have to remove an existing rail from a tiled wall. The previous one had cracked with significant use.
Wether I received a faulty or damaged item I don’t know so this may be a one off but whilst by type and size etc.it should have fitted and do the job. However it didn’t, this one won’t seem to grip when tightened or at least not enough to keep it from not being lob sided with the weight of the shower head.
When we can visit stores again I’ll buy a replacement and will be checking this out again and looking at others of course but I will wish to actually see them first and not just look at online or via some other image. And if none are suitable I’ll buy a new full rail.
It’s doing a job for now but poorly and though it’s relatively inexpensive in itself, add on postage and it’s still money and one should expect better results. If it had worked I would have said that for the cost it was not super quality but value for money. I’d used the product and needed something fairly quickly hence I did not return it plus doing, in terms of a returns process was probably not worth the hassle in time for the cost.
