Looks decent quality. Ruser rail clamp end is OK but hole for the shower head/hose is too small for most shower hose ends. Mine will not fit into it. Went back to Toolstation. Their counter staff tried other hoses that they stock but none fitted properly, although the narrow end of one of their hose ends just entered the wide end of the holder on the Croydex clamp. Why don't they design it to suit 10mm bore shower hoses?
Wont last 5 minutes, flimsy too say the least. Plastic feels brittle and its a tight fit to get the hose through and the end doesnt really fit well.
My old slider broke and could no longer hold the shower head in place. Obviously that's pretty annoying and I wanted to sort it quickly. I thought I'd be looking at replacing the whole rail, but fortunately this little thing allowed me to sort it out in no time.
Basically you can turn a knob on the side to adjust the diameter of the grip. That should allow it to work with pretty much any cylindrical rail, as far as I can tell. It holds the shower head firmly in place and everything seems nice and secure.
I guess the only issue is that it does seem a little cheap and plasticky in terms of its appearance and feel. But given the price, I think that is absolutely fine. It saved me an hour or two faffing about replacing the whole rail, so I am 100% satisfied.
Fitted to 18mm rail and a little disappointed with the result to be honest. Would be better suited to thicker rails as it’s a little wobbly.
Really simple to fit and the clamp grip seems very secure.

Bought this to replace one that could no longer prevent the shower head from drooping down. This one wasn't up to the job either. Do have a large shower head that is quite heavy.
Spot on did what required. Wife happy with the standard.

This was purchased as a replacement for one purchased about 7 years ago that broke. I have been more than happy with the purchase although rubber retention against riser bar is a little weak
