I chose these over MK as the reviews were better. I had never heard of them before. The quality of new electrical equipment is nowhere near as good as my original sockets from the 1980s, but these are good. The switches are double pole, which is a safety thing as it will isolate equipment completely. The design is slimline, rounded off corner, and modern, plus they have screw covers which is really good. The switch is a good firm click on and off, so reducing any arc. The screw terminals are big enough to get three 2.5mm cables in and the screws are of good enough quality not to sheer if you go wild tightening them up. I am really surprised at the quality and will be replacing all my other sockets with this make.
As a professional electrician these are my default brand. Had the misfortune to use a BG one with a 30 year guarantee that lasted 2 weeks. Stick to what you know
Picked up this 13 amp dual gang UK plug socket and honestly, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Solid build, easy to fit, and no fuss at all. Works perfectly, and the price was reasonable. If you just need a reliable socket without any fancy extras, this one’s spot on. Wouldnt hesitate to buy again.
