Quite sturdy, does the job
One might assume that as the cooker connection unit is nearly always lower than the height of the switch the load terminals would be at the bottom of the switch with the supply upper most, not with this unit. It is in my mind quite inexplicable why it should be designed like this and would love to hear the thinking from the people who thought that this was a good idea.

As a sparky of 30+ years, I would recommend using these as they have proper terminals with the earth lug screws pointing the right way for easier installation, helping ensure that the screws can be tightened up sufficiently during installation. Believe me... this is important as you must ensure cables are properly tightened with heavier loads like cookers and hobs being connected to them.
Stay safe and get a spark... if in any doubt!!! :)
