A very good bit of kit well worth buying very handy and easy to store

I used these to feed CCTV camera cables through 10 metres of 25mm flexible conduit before installing the conduit to protect the cables as they were in an area, although at ceiling height, could potentially be susceptible to future damage.
I also used them to feed CCTV and T&E cables along the voids between ceiling and floor boards, and were perfect for what I needed.
I’ve read reviews from users in other outlets that they weren’t flexible enough and either came apart or snapped at the connections between rods when using them in situations where they needed to be bent.
I can only imagine that the rods were subjected to heavy handed use, or lack of thought and care.
They were flexible enough for what I was doing.
Other reviewers on other outlets with negative reviews were probably using these rods beyond their limitations, photographs in those reviews of broken rod connections seemed to suggest they’d been bent in a very small radius, unscrewed or came apart. If there’s a problem with pulling cables when alone and the cables jam, don’t use force just get help to feed from the other end,
I treated these rods with care, didn’t overtighten them at the connections or bend them excessively, they didn’t come apart, and they performed just as I expected,
The clear tube they are stored in is very strong and the cap to keep them in is very tight so won’t slip off easily. I might put some light silicone lubricant on it just to facilitate removal if pushed all the way on.
I didn’t use all the accessories, just the round end with the key ring type spring, which I removed temporarily whilst in use. One accessory which may be very handy in the future, was a flexible attachment which would be great for pulling single cables or flex through conduit access bends. There’s also an adaptor that seems to be for other rod makes or diameters, but I have no idea what makes it would fit.
I’m happy with the quality. I can recommend them and expect them to last for many years to come if treated with care. I would buy another if I ever needed to extend the length beyond 10 metres and up to 20 metres. I can recommend them as good value for the price, I think that for what I do, the quality was more than adequate, and it wasnt worth spending out three or four times as much,

Really useful tool that worked well for me routing cables for CCTV. Strong yet just bendy enough. Wear gloves or clean rods before use as it felt like the odd fibreglass fibre left over from the manufacturing process got stuck in my fingers.

Excellent tool for threading and recovering cables

These are the best for pulling cable through voids and below floors fully recommend to all. This has the option for a hook or a hole for connecting the cable onto to prevent snagging. Very well designed and made.

A useful set of wiring rods with a long scope. Rather stiff and slightly cumbersome end fittings but did the job for me.

I actually really liked it, and came with an adaptor to screw my thicker rods I got years ago from CEF, so was an added bonus as I need to fish a duct between a garage and the house. Perfect for the job

Worked well. The small added accessories for pushing and pulling. The flexi wire end was useful in getting through where the more solid rods were blocked and the various pulling rings and hooks add to the versatility of the set. Saved hours of time getting through small duct routes.

really useful for fishing cables, good balance of flexible / rigid only used a couple of times but did the job really well. the caps are a bit tight to get off the tube, maybe these could have been screwed on, but this is a really minor gripe. bright orange makes them easier to find in ceilings and under floors

I fit a lot of dashcams, and I use these rods for fishing cables across the inside of car roofs and find them very handy

Great bit of kit the hooks and eyelet are really good the product is well made and comes in a tideee case nice and neat made running cables up walls a breeze well done ck

A lot cheaper than alternatives but works just as well, lots of attachments and has just the right amount of bendiness. Would recommend.

Just what I needed or fishing some cable at very last minute

Great rod set, price was competitive and despite only using them once I think they seem like decent quality. At one point I was being quite rough with them and there wasn’t even the slightest noises to indicate they might snap or anything like that. I’d recommend them
