Great tool to purchase, does what is required of it
Does what it says on the tin, just takes a bit of practice. Then Bob's yer Uncle. Easy a wee turn every other revolution, canter.
It works ok but shoddy made and very expensive for what it is almost as much as the armoured cable itself
Great bit of kit makes stripping swa a lot easier and neater
Easy to use and leaves a tidy cut. Scores the armoured strands making them easy to snap off and can also be used to score the outer and inner sheathing. Wish I’d bought one years ago!
This product is useless. It only works on the plastic sheaf and does not cut the armour wiring. I had to do that with a hacksaw which defeats the object. Avoid, especially as it is expensive.
Makes making off SWA easy - particularly in tight spots
waste of money, sent back as when you slightly tighten it pulls on the strands and twisting the cable.
Read the instructions for proper use, it’s not the same as a pipe cutter , after a couple of test cuts you will know when to stop

Having spent years preparing swa with a junior hacksaw I thought this would speed things up but in reality the time saved was minimal. Didn't meet my expectations

Does the job but expensive for what it is. Does save time over a hack saw. Not sure on reliability as yet
After the second attempt I came to the conclusion that it was thought up by someone in an office and trialed by a bricky.
Taking it back tomorrow.
