Why didn't I read the other reviews before purchase (like I normally do)!?!
As experienced by many other customers, this part does not fit a standard waste fitting, nor do Toolstation sell the mating part (that I could find). Some people appear to make it work, but that must just be down to tolerancing. The part I bought was at least 1mm too narrow to fit a standard waste and was hence useless!
No frills, but does the job and looks fine. Great value.
Easy to fit, replacing unreliable tip up bath waste stopper.
A lovely bath waste and what a great idea, having the overflow hole the same size as the drain, so it gives you somewhere to hang your plug. It went on very easily. A couple of vey minor leaks (more like drips than leaks), but nothing little smear of Fernox LSX couldn't fix.
The reason it's dropped a star is the overflow, even though it's got a seal of sorts where it attaches to the drain, because it's a ribbed pipe, the undulations of the ribs can still let water through the seal unless it sits at the absolutely perfect millimetre precise position. Again though, a tiny smear of LSX as belt and braces, and all is good.
Overall, very happy with it, especially the design for hanging the plug up
Doesn't not fit for purpose. Doesn't fit existing trap. After opening fitting sealing doesn't connect to bath trap avoid at all cost. Item should be removed from salr

Bath plug and over fill pipe ! Fit well but even though I was taught to fit with only seals provided I did run a bead of silicone between the bath and fitting as it was on a older bath and slightly bevelled were the plug waste is fitted .
Bog standard bath waste does the job black plug was hard to identify in imagine.
bought it to replace a pop up waste and overflow, simple to use and works as expected. would buy again
This part did not fit the pipes below the bath. I returned to shop with the bath pipe work and was told by a customer that they are cheap and don’t always fit. The staff got a different part and this fitted ok so had to buy this part. Was not apologised to or even offered my money back

Although product was very cheap in price the quality was not very good. Returned to store for refund.
The waste connector does the job my only complaint was getting the overflow connector watertight. I had several goes with connecting the overflow pipe to the plug section with the supplied washer and it was not water tight I eventually resolved the problem with plumbers tape.
For the low price I wasn’t expecting much but I am surprised at the quality of this product.
You need to fit an adapter as it won’t fit the standard British bath waste. Also chain is not long enough to go from the over flow to the outlet on a double ended bath.

Poor quality. Get what you pay for. Was for rental property so tried to keep costs down. Plug is hard plastic and does not sit 100% so leaks slightly,
A decent item. For the money. Brilliant well made no fuss
