nice color durable thick sheet everything fine I highly recommend
I have purchased many of these shoes over the years. I have always drilled the holes in the plate to 16mm to allow me to secure with a 10mm anchor bolt. This is the first time I’ve had to manipulate (bend in vice/bash with hammer) the post cuff as the clamping holes were so far out of line as to prevent clamp bolts fitting correctly.
Held the post steady and didnt sink down in the concrete. I only realised after I purchased and stuck in that it was missing one of the bolts. Managed to find a replacement which did the job fine, it needs both bolts for the post to feel sturdy.
Great for replacing old post's that have gone rotten.
Top half’s bang on but the legs are not man enough for the job they are way too flexible
The unit is shown differently in the catalogue, and is the type with a lip to bolt down and two legs. I had to return mine immediately as I needed something that acted as a corner post for a shed.
As mentioned by others, what arrived was the two 'leg' design rather than the solid design shown in the picture. I have used both in the past and prefer the solid design, but I needed to get on with the project.
the ones if got were different to the picture and only had one flimsey piece of metal underneath for concreting in. would have taken them back but they were needed that day.
Different to image - two prongs to be buried in concrete, not the solid version as shown. Easy to use with some postcrete. Used the pre drilled holes with bolts for additional support.
Slightly different design to what's show in catalogue and online. Hopefully will still work ok.
Drilled and bent cement in parts and straddled cemented dry stone wall if that is a thing! Bolted in and bolted down. Works a treat
