What a massive tool this is! Never handled such a bit tool!
Will drive upto 90mm sq or 125mm round posts. Quite heavy at around 12kg but makes light work of post setting. Easier than using a maul or a sledgehammer.
Initially thought this was too painful to use (into flinty chalk), so bought a petrol banger. Petrol banger couldn’t bang post in when it hit a flint, whereas we were able to with this.

This rammer was the best priced one I could find - solid and heavy enough to get the posts in.
Great ! ... just used it to drive some scaffold poles deep into the earth as a couple of garden handrail supports. much heavier duty than anticipated especially with the extra welded fold-over capping piece at the top end.

Fantastic piece of kit, far better than using a sledgehammer, leaves the post in perfect condition. Needs two pairs of hands though, which is also better for spelling each other. Much better than digging holes and concreting, or using spikes.
Does what it says ! Not as heavy as some post rammed I have used which was better TBH unless you are muscle bound. Nice quality.
I only needed this for four large tree stakes, having tried and failed to use hammers in the past. I looked around to hire one but the cost of this was less than the minimum and Toolstation is convenient too.

Good quality, used to drive 3" posts In ground and made very light work of it.. would recommend.

Used to drive 80mm 6ft posts x 10. Fantastic tool which was perfect for the job and definitely made things a whole lot easier; Weight and dimensions are spot on for repeat use and will lend itself to variety of post sizes/shapes. The added top strap a fantastic idea for long term use.
