Its very good picture wire brass won’t rust it’s easy handle strong wire but it’s only limited for light fixtures such like light picture and light mirrors only not recommended for heavy items

Thought I was going to get 5 packs of 1m, but actually got 5 packs of 6m!
Used to hang humungous oil painting. Good quality wire but pain to unravel. Kinked a couple of times. Knotted together well though. Sold as 6metres in Five separate lengths. I’m sure each length was more than 0.6m. Doubled up due to size of picture.
Very flimsy, had to wind across the back of a not very heavy portrait before hanging after previous attempts caused the wire to snap. Not to be trusted with heavy items.
This brass picture wire pack is very good value. The wire is good quality, multi-strand cable that stays together when you snip with pliers or snips (give the ends an extra twist to make sure), holds its position when twisting and knotting your hanging loop and is happily bearing the weight of the modern frames I used. I put up 4 medium sized frames and still have wire left from the first spool of the 5 pack so it goes a long way. Would recommend. Hang in there!
