drilling into cast brass drills are to brittle both snapped as soon as they went through a layer spent more time getting the brocken bits out went back to the cheap old drills I had gave them a quiuck sharpen and drilled 36 more holes in the same material with no problem total waist of money will never use again.
Bought these to replace one which had just snapped. These are slightly shorter than the one I had previously though. Seem to drill through aluminium and wood as you'd expect.
Needed to replace bits for drill set. Got two so one spare. Great service and price as always from TS.
Small bits needed to drill pilot holes in wood. Just the job, but easily bent.
Great value replacements for my drill set and they work a treat
Great sharp drill bits. Accurate size. Holds sharpness.
There’s not really much to say they cut steel and wood well.
Bosch HSS drills that are a good price and hopefully not brittle. Time will tell.
Well the answer has to be 'Yes'. Even used in a bench drill, you can feel the workpiece move itself slightly into position in the punch mark as the drill point makes contact. I needed it specifically to make a grid of 3.5mm holes in several pieces of wood and the finished product looks very professional as far as I'm concerned. (I have no intention of exposing my DIY skills to you!) Next time I'm in the market for drills, the Bosch PointTeQs will be at the top of my list.
Callws into local Toolststation in Leigh for a differnt product and noticed this excellant buy of Bosch 3.5 mm drill in 2 paclk. purchased and happy
very nice, well made, sharp and strong. Great value
Nice little bits...did the job well at a great price!
Good quality drill bites that were good priced and just the size required
Good sharp bit...can't think of anything else to say to reach the minimum 50 words Oops I've done it
Only made an impression in the aluminium greenhouse staging I wanted to drill: perhaps Bosch doesn't class aluminium as a metal.
I use these mainly to drill holes in wood and metal, and after many years of trying different bits these were by far the easiest choice to come back to. They offer longevity and are very fairly priced. If you drill in metal I found that if you want them to last, use it on a low setting instead of as the title suggest HSS (High speed steel), and if you add some cutting fluid or WD40 whilst you do it (drilling in metal only) it makes it very easy to drill any hole. Sometimes if you use too much force or tilt the drill too much especially on the 5mm and below, they do snap, but it's rare and I usually know when I was the reason behind it.
Good value and good product would definitely recommend
These drills do an excellent job of drilling holes.
Excellent product at great price and the best bit was that it did the job really well. Therefore I will be back
Not fit for purpose - very poor quality. Very disappointing.
