The Bosch GKE 18V-40 18V Brushless BiTurbo Chainsaw is an impressive tool that delivers exceptional cutting performance with easy handling. The GKE 18V-40 is designed to make wood-cutting in the garden a breeze. With a 12.4ms chain speed, this delivers more than enough power to get the job done. Holding a standard chainsaw for a long amount of time can cause a lot of strain on your arms. Bosch have kept this in mind and tried to keep the tool as compact and lightweight as possible, whilst keeping it well balanced even with a 12Ah Battery and easy to manoeuvre. The same battery that you use to power your drillsgrindersetc can be used for projects in the garden too There are some extra bells and whistles worth focusing on too including easy-to-use chain tension control. With a ScrewdriverWrench stored on-board the tool, you can maintain the tool and remain working to the highest efficiency. The clever engineers at Bosch have also placed the chain-oil tank on the front of the tool to prevent the user from making a mess. Safety is very important when using a chainsaw. Bosch have thought one step ahead with their handy Quickstop Chain Brake which will shut the tool off within 0.12 seconds if it experiences too much torque. At the heart of this tool is the BiTurbo Brushless Motor that allows you to use it efficiently.As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
