Has sharp spikes on the outside edge of the blade, these seem to grip the wood so strongly that it stalls my electric drill rather than doing any cutting. Not sure if it requires something much more powerful to use it.

Cuts through the wood like a thing possessed once the tip bites. Sometimes it’s hard to get the ruddy thing out of the oak I’m drilling! But let’s face it: it beats a flat bit anytime.
