Good vale - and it cuts through some touch concrete!
good length of drill bit, worked well to drill hole as needed
Lovely bit of kit - does the job and will definitely keep on buying them
Excellent drill bit. Used to fix wooden battens to brick wall. Nice and long, drills easily through wood straight into brick behind. Have drilled dozens of holes with it now and it lasts, cutting tips still as good as new.
Works well for precise holes. Last a long time by far the best 5.5 drill bits for a combi
Toolstarion are crap. I don’t shop with you and haven’t in years. Stop thinking you have sold me something because you definitely haven’t.
I use this drill bit for practically any material. Doesn’t need to be used in hammer action either. Best drill bit for combo drills I’ve ever used
These are the only masonry drill bits i ever buy. Been buying them for years. If a store dont have them i wont buy just any others i go elsewhere to get them theyre that good. I absolutely batter mine & they just keep going. Eat into the toughest engineering bricks & concrete. I wont buy any other.
Used to drill into a piece of VERY HARD (grave) stone. Required a LOT OF PATIENCE and a LOT OF PRESSURE as well as WATER COOLING. ~ 10mm deep. The stone was very hard, much harder than concrete., iI only required 2 small holes for a temporary clip.. I think this the smallest easily available drill for masonry. (I had tried/experimented with both an older masonry drill (slightly blunt[?] as well as pure tungsten carbide but it blunted the T/C.)
The tip broke off in the first drilling into steel section even after piloting the hole with a smaller diameter cobalt coated drill bit
I rarely leave a review for anything but I had such a poor experience with this drill bit I wanted to save others from suffering the same fate. It was relatively expensive for a single bit & I was hoping it would be money well spent but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Personally I think that these bits are only meant for light weight construction use I.e. drilling into thermolite blocks, plastic, plaster board.
I used it to drill into the old yellow London stocks and it only managed 6 holes and it was done.
Very sturdy drill that was used to drill through everything.
Best drill bits around, last very well and do the job
Handy drill bit, works well and lasts will definitely buy again.
This bit bent first time used. Poor quality drill bit.
Needed it to drill into an external wall, did the job well and no problems.
Great Drill bit, drilled through a concrete pipe in seconds, can’t fault it
I used this on bathroom tiles and it was so much easier and quicker to use than others! Definitely recommend
I drilled one hole in a floor tile, attempted to drill second hole then the drill bit became blunt it was totally useless. I certainly do not recommend these drill bits.
