Worked OK cut end post off to get on then built up under post support
Fixed onto block paving drive to hold fence post bought one last year it holding strong so knew this is this is the answe to another problem further up drive
Very solid, only part that is missing is a whole missing on top side for the post fence fixing

Bought 3 of them last week, they are not very strong and started to rust on the surface which is crazy. Galvanised are better

These bolt down brackets are just the job for fixing posts where holes can't be dug (patios etc) The only problem I had was the timber I had was too small to fit the 50x50mm size, it was more like 45x45mm. So I actually upgraded to the 7x75mm bolt down post brackets which fit a 75x75mm post tightly, this worked a treat and held the post very firmly. I used chemical anchor and studding to bolt them down which was very secure.
