BLACK + DECKER GD300-GB Corded Lawn Raker - Black & Orange

I had the last black and decker scarifier for nearly 30 years never let me down gave up when his wheels fell off as I am over 70 years of age though it was time I purchased a new one. Always Black and Decker.

Lightweight and very easy to use, does a good job too.

Does what it says. Agreed it's a bit narrow but with the mountain of stuff it chucks up there's no way to make the basket big enough, sometimes for only a few yards. Light and easy to use, although the height adjustment can be a bit of a struggle.

Bought this to replace my previous B&D lawn raker which was over 20 years old. It does the job perfectly well and probably better than the previous one. The only drawback is that the the grass box fills up quickly but it is easy to remove and replace, just have your wheelbarrow at hand to empty it into. Would recommend as good value for money

Excellent bit of kit. Lightweight but does the job well. Grass box can soon get filled. Surprised just how much thatch is produced. Lawns look great now they have recovered. It removed loads of moss.

Clogs up really fast, gave up with the collection tray but seemed to do the job

It's maybe just my lawn but a larger catch basket is required for the amount of moss it removes

Very effective and very easy to set up and use. We’d never scarified before but the machine made it a very easy and straightforward process. The machine is light enough for easy manoeuvrability but has sufficient weight to get the job done.
On the minus side, the cable could have done with being longer, half as much again as a minimum, the same amount again would be better. Also, the collection basket does not hold very much at all, so it requires frequent stops to empty it.
It’s not the most sturdy build so it will need care in use to keep it in one piece, but at it’s price point it’s an acceptable compromise.

I bought this scarifier to do my 70sqm lawn once or twice a year so didn’t want one too expensive. This one fitted the bill and I found it very light and easy to put together and to use. My brown bin is now full.

My order was ready very quickly and the lady who served me was very informative. Product excellent and good value.

Bought this scarifier to finish off the garden maintenance .After cutting the grass was using this tool and found it hard to use having too push it with my foot to work and the handle is to upright to be able to push it along , it is a cheap design for black and decker .

Did the job over and above expectations as expected and again great service from toolstation

Bought as replacement for a broken bed this works a treat infact better than the previous scarifier

This is an excellent tool for removing moss from your lawn. Couldn’t believe how reasonably priced this was, having shopped around for some time. Really easy to assemble and it’s a great lightweight machine that’s easy to use. Thankfully the back breaking job of manually raking moss out of the lawn is now very much in the past. You will not regret purchasing this machine. Definitely recommend 👍

absolutely brilliant!! I was a bit concerned re only 600watt and most are 1500watt but this went through my garden without any slowing down and it really cleaned out the dead grass and moss Have always been pleased with black and decker found them excellent quality without the high DeWalt Makita etc price tag

For the price I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. But it was better than expected. Definitely recommend this product.
