Actually I am really pleased with my Black & Decker cordless hedge trimmer, however this was supposed to be "next day delivery" to the Toolstation store and I had to wait 3 days for it to arrive. I dont know if this is just a one off or if all deliveries are equally as poor?
DIY user. Lightweight and does the job. Don’t how it would cope with a large amount of hedge to cut. Good for trimming the hedge but doesn’t have the power of my old electric trimmer to really cut hedge back. So battery good most of the time but does not replace my electric trimmer. Convenient for quick trim.
Only used once but made quick work of a large hedge at the front of the house . Arrived quickly could have been packaged a little better as box was wet.
The battery charged up in a couple of hours and the machine worked for a good hour or more

it cuts very slowly, like a barber cuts the hair...But it cuts, does a good job. The battery lasts a long time too.
Enough power to do the job, well balanced and quiet. I am thrilled with how long the battery lasts.

I returned the product for a refund. The battery took almost a whole day to charge. Without even using the trimmer the battery then almost completely discharged itself. On top of that the trimmer didn't even work anyway. Assume the battery was faulty.
It was very easy to put together, charge the battery and use for the first time. Excellent value for money
Very quick delivery from toolstation. Battery does take quite a while to charge, but lasted abour 1hr, without running out of power. Today I have hut 3m of Ivy, a 4 small bushes, and battery is not flat. Blades cut through everything OK. Very pleased with it.
Great piece of kit for the price. The hedges were thick & over due for trimming. It made easy work of it all.

Great hedge trimmer, charge lasts well and the trimmer copes with fairly thick branches. I particularly like the anti jam button.
Good value. Seems to cope well with everyday hedge and foliage trimming. Probably worth getting an extra battery if you have a large amount to do.
I thought i`d give a cordless hedge trimmer a go after my petrol one packed in. It is actually a lot better than i thought it would be, it does a great job on my hedge without me having to breathe in petrol fumes. I`m very happy with my purchase and it was £25 cheaper than the same model in Argos. Happy Days!
