Very good electric corded saw. Costs a bit more than others but well worth the extra. Easy to assemble following the instructions. Cuts through logs with ease due to powerful 2.2kw motor and the chain stops in an instant when releasing the trigger. Only criticism is it only has 4 metres of cable which restricts use at times, even though l would recommend this.
Impressed, Good quality, better than i thought it would be, thick good quality cable with it, not noisy at all.
Purchased to cut down mature trees in daughter's garden (10" diameter). Tackled the job with no problems at all. Good build quality. Would certainly recommend.
Excellent product. I had a different brand before and it was much heavier, b&d is lighter and easier to operate.
I bought this chainsaw to tackle a 40+ year old pampas grass plant. This plant was very big and very dense, I have used a number of different tools but this chainsaw was the best. It cut through the dense foliage with ease. I suspect that it will handle timber with ease as it is quite piwereful. It was easy to put together and easy to use. The only downside is that the instructions are not so good.
Really pleased with my purchase, good quality & well made. Chain tension adjustment is very easy, strongly recommend.
Excellent for trimming small trees and shrubs. Powerful enough to make short work of branches quickly and relatively quietly. Easy to assemble and simple to maintain. Chain tension can be instantly adjusted.

A great easy to use small chainsaw,wouldn’t recommend it for anything more in diameter than 6inches which it will cut through with ease anything thicker needs a bigger more powerful machine

It cuts okay but the chain keeps coming off and it not easy to tighten the chain. Not robust enough also the cable comes apart too easy

This electric chainsaw is excellent—very powerful and a good size. It's much better than other expensive brands.
Delighted with quality , power and performance of this chainsaw. Have always liked this brand. Only annoyance is the power lead connector. Although designed for “easy” disconnect, presumably for safety reasons, the plug and socket come apart too regularly.
Well designed chainsaw. The cover plastic cover holder acts as a tensioner which made it simple to keep the chain tight.
Cuts well, and feels a quality chainsaw.
One thing Black & Decker might like to do is add one of the cable cord covers which you can get for tv cables. The black power cable could be brighter.
Well designed and easy to use. slightly heavier than my old GK400 series chainsaw, but the extra couple of inches of blade probably accounts for most of the extra weight. Smooth cuts, and relatively quiet. I would have preferred a longer cable, but that's not a major problem. I just hope it lasts as long as my old one did - 28 years!
