Nice long cable, decent switch and the varied speed work.
Nice rubbery, rubber grip.
Quick change of bits and no tool needed. Comes with some blades but don't get your hopes up with regards to their quality.
Does accept starlock fittings as well but obviously more of a faff.
Its tempting to hold closer to the end for better control when using it but watch out as sections around where you want to grip get real hot quite quickly. The quick release mechanism for switching attachments seems good and solid. Several 'smart lock' attachments available for cross compatability if needed.
I purchased this to replace another manufacturers oscillating tool i had for a few years. Straight away i noticed a couple of design flaws that came apparent more after a short use. 1) i do not have big hands, but using it to remove old grout , holding/pushing the blade in my index finger and thumb natural hold it in a postion, sadly the position happens to be the exposed metal housing that rapidly gets hot and i mean hot.
2) the blade holding unit is excellent if you have open ended blades that can be slid into position by holding the handle down, (made harder if the metal is hot). But, if you have blades that have to be locked in place using the Hex key lock system , it is rubbish. The thing comes loose in seconds even to th extent of mis shaping the hex head bolt.
3) Some diamond edged blades are difficult to use with it, as the head is wider than my old one thus making it difficult to clearly see the blade edge. And finally on its second morning of use thick, grey, grease oozed out of the cooling vents. All i can say is it worked, and i eventually removed the grout in a small, tiled, area of my 8' x 6' bathroom

Like all B&D tools it's honest and works well and will possibly last forever with good care.
