It delivers a no load speed of 5300rpm and features 0 – 45 degrees bevel cut facility. Thanks to the rise and fall depth setting, it delivers optimum cutting performance. Easy to use, high quality, and a very reasonable price. I recommend eye protection when operating.
Good value. Good features, allowing easy adjustment/setting. Much easier to change blade than others I've used.
Good value tool for some home DIY bathroom work, the laser is really helpful!
Definitely not the quality B&D of old. Getting a 90° cut is trial and error. The angle markings are way off so trial cuts needed. The fence is almost impossible to fit and remove, again due to manufacturing alignment errors. Out of the box, it rattles when powered off, so bearings probably won't last long. The instructions are abysmal. The laser is supposedly switchable, but there is no switch. It comes on when running, but you can't switch it off. They have taken the trouble to put a sticker on the handle advising the button cell number for replacement, but there is no battery compartment. Its obviously been updated to be mains powered. I bought it to cut through 4inch fence posts, which require cutting from both sides which requires accurate 90° cutting. I'm managing having set it by trial and error, and being cheap it does the job, but don't try fitting a kitchen worktop with it! Cheap and nasty!
Does exactly the job it's intended for. The blade that came with it is easy to install and stayed sharp. Very pleased with this saw.
Good enough for simple jobs , easy to use and convenient price
What a bargain from a decent brand. Great for quick jobs. Better than hand saw anyway. The Lazer guide is very useful also. Safety features take a bit to get used to but work well.
A nifty little hand held circular saw which handles well and is easy to use.
Lasted less than 2 hours before the bearings failed. Laser was useless as a death ray as well.
On the plus side toolstation changed it no problem, the chap said half of these come back.
so i bought a dearer one.
Probably ok for cutting up hardboard, but did not like 4x2 pine.
Very handy tool, easy to use, does a great job precise finish
Very hospitable staff. Patient in dealing with my queries. Not too busy to assist you in finding the right product
My last Black and Decker saw did me good service for 30 years. It finally broke down last week. It's a make you can't go wrong with.
This saw has a flimsy heel plate and doesn't cut straight. There is no adjustment possible.
For the price it's a great bit of kit that does the job. Very easy to use the only down side was the blade that comes with the saw an 18 tooth blade so i bought an 24 tooth blade and got a far better cut.
Brilliant, very powerful, cuts like hot knife through butter.
Excellent features and simple to use. Probably worth buying a finer tooth blade as an accessory for a cleaner cut. It cuts up to 66mm deep, cuts angles and has a laser guide. Perfect for the home diy enthusiast.
Very easy ordering process and cheapest price i found. Yet to use it but it looks just what we need.
All Good easy to buy easy to use Just all GOOD !!!!
Seemed OK to start with, although the instructions were not totally clear.
After about 45 minutes use it just stopped. Checked the fuse but a new one didn't work. Took it back for a refund. After some discussion that I had to have a replacement, the store eventually gave me a refund even though their "updated" guidance said that they did not have to refund even though the customer facing website said I was eligible for it.
Saw was decent, for price & light diy jobs unfortunately locking button to replace blade became faulty short after. Staff at Kings heath branch were excellent with refund.
