This is to replace same switched / cooker socket less than 3 years old. I wouldn't buy these type again as they are not up to the job look good
Disappointed the unit this is replacing has only lasted just under three years had to use same again to match remainder of kitchen sockets , come on BG what is your response are we to expect your switches to to last 26 months or was I unlucky ??
Excellent quality, fit and finish. If you are swapping out the supplied screws they need to have low profile heads. The clips ons will tolerate a small amount of surface mounting unevenness.
Great looking cooker socket bought to match others previous one had neon light flickering but still worked
After a major kitchen refit we thought that the existing standard white sockets didn't look right. We already had BG screwless faceplate sockets on the island unit and they looked so much better. Toolstation, critically, stocked the full range of outlets that we needed: 2-gang sockets, cooker switch, and single spurs (with and without indicator lights). The quality is excellent, price was very reasonable and they were easy to fit. The small red neon indicators are a nice finishing touch, so much neater than the traditional orange neons. Extremely pleased with the result.
I only bought this because i needed one with grey inserts and couldn't find anywhere else, they dont sell it in the screwed version, screwless are terrible products, if you use longer screws than what are provided, the front wont clip on, as the heads on most 3.5mm screws are slightly bulbous, if the wall isnt perfectly flat, or tiles are lumpy, the front doesnt clip in right, when you eventually get it on, put some caulk or silicone round so it wont clip off
I bought this, and others in the range, to update the fittings in our newly upgraded kitchen. They seem well made and, unlike others of a similar type I've used, the covers fit on securely giving a neat finish when the job is done.

Ok but the screws could do with being longer. They come with countersunk screws when using normal longer socket screw the heads are bigger not allowing to push the plate back enough
