A little disappointed in this as it hums with LEDs but is sold as being compatible with LED lighting. Tried it on both modes but just the same. Have instead bought a cheap white Wessex one, much cheaper and completely silent.
Good quality dimmer units & the fanciers are tidy.
This is a trailing edge dimmer that works really well with dimmable LED bulbs. This gives me proper control with no flashing and flickering (unlike my old leading edge dimmer).
Easy replacement for an elderly fitting. Soft start works well and is a nice feature to have.
First time I've ever changed one of these and it worked perfectly and logically.
Most of the pin screws were a bit tight down to start with but after a patient minute with them they loosed up in the end to allow the wires in.
The product is fine, the main issue with toolstation at present is the Autumn10 in store promotion code didn't work me, also i couldn't use my Blue light discount either in store or online
