I bought this to enable us to plug in the Campervan without having wires everywhere. The fittings on the back are removable to fit flush to the wall. Works perfectly. 👍🏻
A good solution for a short term external socket. Easy to install and if drilling through a wall, the rcd is not connected but there are simple instructions to wire it up.
Outdoor socket good item but difficult to fix securely to wall as it only has a hanging fixture
The socket seems very good and I like the way the LED shines through the cover so you can see if the sockets are switched on. I found the 3 metre flex was too short so wired up a longer lead, however it proved really fiddly to connect this to the plug. Otherwise looks like a good product
Great to add to garden wall and connect to an inside wall socket better safety and ip66 water proof good wall fixtures all you need lam using for my water feature lights up great best yet 5***** l always seal mine to the wall so l did not use the bracket but there great well made as l have plenty closes well easy wire and easy to follow instructions all to use

Installed on a plain brick wall. I had trouble getting it to grip the wall tightly as I takes a lot of force to open and close the lid. Eventually I had to disassemble it to mount the brackets first and then the case to the brackets.Those catches need a lot of pressure to engage and release. for someone with weak hands (thinking elderly) it could be that users won't bother to clip it shut.
The RCD runs warm with a current draw of just 2 amps. Something I will have to watch when using power tools in the shed as the average load is around 800-1100 watts.

Very good quality product that is easy to fit on an exterior wall and connect to your main electrical circuit inside your property. Does require a hole to be drilled through your house wall close to an internal electrical socket but an easy task for a competent DIY'er.
Exactly what we need for our outside plug, was bought to replace an old one we already had
