Chunky and solid design makes this fused spur a robust addition to the greenhouse capabilities allowing me to conduit in a couple of IP65 Sockets and a small IP65 LED Batten light. Mrs Gardener is very happy with her all season capabilities now - and I get some peace and quiet with a beer.

Fully weatherproof spur box . Maybe not quite as easy to work on compared to the MK version which I have always used in the past . Corner fixing screws can be a bit fiddly but overall warrants a good 4 stars
I bought this for my outside shower, toilet & kitchenette block.
When visitor's from ‘Nearly Wild Camping’ want to wash they are safe from unshielded electrics. This switch controls the under sink water heater and is perfect for this job.

IP66 fused spur, used to isolate several outdoor sockets, easy to connect up as plenty of room inside the larger than average box, several knockouts with two on one side which can be positioned as the bottom when installed
I used this to connect an electric garage door opener. Much neater than just plugging it into a socket.
Neat and tidy unit easy to operate through the front panel
Replaced an old unit with this one. Pre fused. The plastic screw lugs on each corner make attaching the face plate are a lot easier/quicker to fit. Power indicator on top of the switch an improvement over the old unit. Screw securing of the front weather flap also seals unit.
Bg is tried and tested and I’ve never had a problem with any ever fitted
Well constructed FCU, plenty of wiring room, especially for SWA cable. Looks the business to keep internals dry. Switch can be operated without opening the cover. Recommended!
Needed to go in a bathroom at low level, reasonably neat and tidy
The new BG weatherproof range is very good including this spur, lots of room for wiring, 1/4 turn screws to maintain even pressure and a clear membrane front so that the spur can be used as a switch
Perfect replacement for blown unit, with a little knowledge as easy as wiring a plug but would suggest using an electrician if your unsure with the instruction
I use it as a light switch for outdoor lights spurred off a socket. Perfect.
When this new unit was installed it proved a much better constructed switch.
No need to lift the flaps up to switch on.
