Does the job but low quality. The price reflects this.
As others have indicated it's best to provide pilot holes for the screws especially if fitting to a hardwood door. Also check that your door frame does not feature an excessively wide closing face to the door as the faceplate comes quite close to the edge of the door. I had to provide a rebate to clear it.
Simple and well designed, good value too. I used my own screws as easy to screw in; the screws supplied were a perfect length, but a bit blunt, so probably needed pilot holes. Looks great and I am very pleased with it. Excellent service from my local Toolstation, as usual.
Does everything you want, this. Small thing is that on the one I ordered, the text was black and the background was the bit that was coloured. Doesn't affect the use or quality - just something I noticed.

These are only let down by the cheap screws, they burr very quickly, needed to pre drill and then carefully screw them in. If on hard wood, tap out with another strong screw first.
Easy to install, Fits different thicknesses of doors. LOOKS GREAT.

Easy to fit and adjust to thickness of door, was a great replacement for a very old slide bolt, everything required is installed, no instructions for install but simple enought of drilling a hole and screwing the plates on

Surprisingly good quality for the cost. The finish and build are very good. Easy to fit and the spindle could be cut with pliers
The circular plastic lining ( 'engaged' /'vacant') inside can be quite sloppy or even too tightened up when fixed on from outside. It gets us quite frustrating when we turn the lock every time signally.
