Easy to put through too far then they are wasted. Otherwise very useful

So Im a semi pro cyclist, used to be a cycle courier. I use an alarm on the bike, which i secure in place with these cable ties since plastic ones can easily be snapped with hand force.
Ive yet to have any issues losing the alarm after 4 years. Whereas an Asda security guard broke the first alarm which was kept in place by plastic zip ties
These are perfect, used on a dog crate and being metal there’s no worry of the dogs chewing them. Super strong & wont rust. Also great service as always at the Wellingborough store!
I used these to route cables tidily in a car engine bay. Several cable runs were positioned near the exhaust manifold, so plastic cable ties wouldn’t be suitable. The ties are strong, the ball retention is reliable, and the excess can be snipped off with strong side cutters. Good product.

I only needed a handful to hold a wrap to a diesel heater exhaust. Good job there were 100 in the packet as pretty much every other one failed to hold.
Perfect for outdoor cable management. Need to get it right first time though as they will not release once tightened.

I used these to secure a large tarpaulins to a metal frame. Plastic wouldn’t have been anywhere strong enough. A few weeks later and still holding strong.
Brilliant, quick and did exactly the job they needed to do, supporting my broken car exhaust until I could get it home to the garage! The only downside was they can’t be linked together due to the way they lock.
They are what they are, but being ball lock and stainless steel you cant get them as tight as a plastic cable tie
